Divergent Series - Appreciate the out of faction

Divergent Series has 3 parts

1. Divergent

2. Insurgent

3. Allegent

I started watching the first movie and continued to watch others after getting inspiration from the first movie. Mostly of the Hollywood success movies take very simple topics and takes us to unimaginable possibilities, so was divergent.

The movies starts with separation of kids into factions - dauntless, Erudite, Candour, Amity and Abnegation similar to houses in a school or college. But they stand for the meaning of the titles they choose or else they have to become faction-less. This films portrays that such factions are higher than the family which seems weird and does not allows one to be part of values of all factions. Divergent are people who can portray all values of all factions, they are seen as a threat in this movie. 

In the first part we could see how the protagonist, the lady character with the help of his coach passes all tests of dauntless and identifies that erudite are manipulating dauntless with control serum to decimate people of abnegation. The control serum does not affect the heroine and the hero, as they are divergents by nature. The erudite plan falls apart with little success for divergents, the erudite who fears divergent could be a great threat for factions ensure that the cause of death of people of abnegation falls on divergent by communicating that dauntless divergents have made a planned attack on abnegation.

The second part continues with divergent escaping erudite and being declared as Insurgents of fugitive and seeks the amity and candour. While the erudite finds a box from the founders and understand the need of a potential divergent to open it. The heroine is the divergent who has the potential to open it. Erudite seeks different divergents and finally reaches heroine and tries to access the message left by founders. In order to open the box the divergent should simulate the values of dauntless, erudite, cantor and amity. Once the values have been simulated and box is open, they understand that every group are in experiment and the goal or purpose is to find that divergent could simulate all potentials. Now they can go beyond the boundary of the world where there is a large fence but factionless people takes the control and seals the wall.

In the third part, the hero and heroine along with friends goes beyond the border and meets the other set of people who were doing the experiment. After few doubts they understand that they are not helping rather trying to control all people within the wall realise that they have to be allegiant or loyal to the factions but have to dissolve it live in harmony, so they come back back to their original place.

Divergent and movies series helps me to realise how we as people separate ourself into different sects and try to remain separate. It looks just to be a reflection of the reality as the movies puts lot of science and technology to make it very appealing. Dissolving these sects is not possible and divergent are always seen as threats and actors who could simulate all factions. It seem that divergent can also bring in unity and harmony but we are always put up into some factions. Factions and divergent have to groom a person in reality and it does so :)

The Divergent series has taken a very simple theme or topic to span a huge plot to slow down our brains and pay undivided attention to such a wonderful thought.
